Welch Allyn Connex Vital Signs

Monitor allows clinicians to take

several automated blood pressure

readings in succession and

averages them together for a more

accurate result than traditional

blood pressure cuffs. The Connex

VSM is a full-color, touch screen

vital signs device that automatically

measures heart rate, blood

pressure, temperature, pulse

oximetry, weight and Total

Hemoglobin. Clinicians can input

manual parameters for respiration,

height and pain level, and modifiers

for body position, and O2 therapy

details. The Connex VSM can be

configured for spot-check,

monitoring with intervals, or triage

modes and offers the option for

patient vital signs to be viewed

anytime, anywhere on a hospital
